Enjoy natural river showers via snow guns, river crossings, a huge mound of snow to climb, a giant mud slide, plenty of other challenging  obstacles, and fresh mud to run and crawl through. 

Enjoy a scenic chairlift ride to the TOP of Marquette Mountain, then complete your chosen 4 mile or 2 mile race to the finish line at the chalet. The courses will lead you  through a set of switchbacks and various obstacles along your 550 foot descent  to the finish.

Follow your challenge with friends, food, drinks, and live music
or watch the kids play in this year’s FREE children's mud park!!

Racers must sign waivers and get numbered on the day of the race from 8-10 am at the hill.

Age Guidelines 
**Ages 4-9 may participate in free children’s mud park. 
**Runners age 10-18 must have a parent sign waiver day of race.
**Runners age 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the race.

Day of Race
Registration & Packet Pick-Up:  8-10 a.m.
Race begins in assigned waves: 11  a.m.


Competitive Categories and Prizes

**Chip timing will be used to record competitors’ times. Each runner’s time will be automatically recorded when crossing the start and finish lines.

**The top male runner and top female runner of the 4 mile course will be awarded commemorative Marquette Mountain Mud jerseys and be given free registration for next year’s race to defend his/her title.

**The top male runner and top female runner of the 2 mile course will be awarded commemorative Marquette Mountain Mud hoodies and be given free registration for next year’s race to defend his/her title.

**Marquette Mountain Mud mugs will be awarded to the top finisher in each of the following age brackets for both male and female racers in the 4 mile course and 2 mile course: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

**Marquette Mountain Mud glassware will be awarded to each member of the top finishing team in each category: female team, male team, and
co-ed team. Teams consist of at least 4 members but no more than 6.

**Competitive costume categories will be awarded in two areas: Superhero & Hawaiian. The top individual costume for each category will be awarded free registrations for 2014 Marquette Mountain Mud so they can return and strut their stuff again!

**Best Team costume categories will be awarded in two areas: Superhero & Hawaiian. Winning team for each category will be awarded gift certificates to area businesses to go celebrate their feat!
